Free Art Friday – Vitamin C
So it’s January, apparently the most depressing month of the year. People are praying for pay day and fighting off the flu
Free Art Friday is a relatively new art movement that’s rapidly gaining in popularity around the World. Artists create a painting, sketch, sculpture, photograph or installation and leave it on the street. The piece can then be picked up by anyone and claim it as their own.
Vitamin C is a series of images plotting my failure to fight back the flu, which is art speak for throwing an orange against a wall and photographing it.

Essex Street, Temple Bar – Taken, but the only one that I never received a “thank you” for. It was my favorite one.

Drury Street

Lower Exchange Street, (opp. my apartment – lazy), Temple Bar – Taken sometime in the afternoon.

Exchequer Street – Taken in the morning while I was still hanging the others.

Temple Lane, Temple Bar (This was taken at 4:30pm)

South William Street – Taken by a friend who promised he’d only take one.

York Street. The last print hung and the hardest to hang. Duck tape doesn’t do pebble dash. I caught this being taken on camera.
[...] And check out tho awesome photographer Steve Ryan that photographed organges on different surfaces, made the photos into prints and put the prints make into the same spot. See his galler entitled ‘Vitamin C’ here [...]
